UNCG CLASS VISITATION REPORTS
Please post "Class Visitation Reports" for all 3 UNCG classes on the blog. You should visit 3 UNCG classes by Monday, September 22.
Please follow the format below:
Name: Angela Lu
Class: CS4
Instructor: Anthony
Date & Time: 1/31/2008, 9:30-10:45am
Course Title: Leisure & American Lifestyle
Professor: Dr. Catherine E. Dorwart
Class Visitation Report
The main topic was “Motivation”. The professor defined the motivation first, and then identified a variety of motivations for participation in recreation. She kept asking students questions and everyone was involved in the class. One of the topics is recreation in the lives of children. She mentioned that overscheduled child and asked us did we take some classes such as piano, violin classes after school. It recalls me when I was young; I went to cram school after class and to do homework or to review the lessons there. Many people think children will stand pressures. Indeed, I didn’t feel many pressures. I made lots of friends and the teacher taught me how to write my homework. And she taught us Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and some motivation concepts which I learned that before, so I am familiar with these parts.
