Listening Blog
Each student is required to listen to 5 hours of American audio each week. You may listen to the radio while you drive your car, or you may watch TV at home. You may even go see an American movie at the theatre. You may also go to YouTube.com, Google Video, or anywhere else on the Internet, and find an audio or video file.
Every time you do one listening (one movie, one TV show, one radio program, etc…) you must go to the CS4 blog and write the following information:

In this episode of Survivor, there were 4 people left on the island. All four people were competing to win the big prize. The people had a big race and a man named Michael won the race. They did many things like playing a game with fire, and making a boat out of wood from trees on the island.
REACTION:
I liked this episode of Survivor because it was interesting and I learned many new words.

"On your mark, get set, go." This is a phrase used when people are about to start a race. A person yells it and then when he says "go" everybody must race.

The movie Tropic Thunder

SUMMARY:
Some people trying to make a movie about the war in Vietnam. But the actors are so bad, their performance is terrible. So the director was so angry. Later the crew took a break and the four main actors went for a walk “wearing military customs”. They got lost in the Vietnamese jungle and some Vietnamese soldiers saw the four actors, they thought the actors are from the American army. So they start shooting them. The actors thought that this was act because the director told them “I’ll make you feel real fear so you can act well”. However, some funny events happen to them. The actors didn’t realize that this was real until the Vietnamese captured one of them and start torturing him. The Vietnamese wanted to know why they were here. Later, the other actors used a plan from their script to rescue their friend.
REACTION:
It was very funny movie. I enjoyed it so much.

SUMMARY:
When it gets dark, Bruce Wayne becomes the Dark Knight Batman who keeps peace in Gotham. He discovers the existence of evil Joker while setting out to eradicate a series of crime in Gotham. Joker, while being at the back of successive crimes, designates Batman as his enemy and keeps on running amok. And finally Batman and Joker start off a combat.
REACTION:
It was first time I watched a movie in a theater in America. I couldn't catch up with considerable part of the film as I was used to reading caption. Lines of Batman, whose voice was husky, were especially hard to comprehend. But I was immersed in the movie especially thanks to Heath Ledger who played Joker. It won't be easy to forget his bizarre appearance, voice and words.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl, 2003

SUMMARY:
Captain, Johnny Depp was fixed in some island because ship was sunk by storm. However, he was imprisoned the prison by soldiers because of illegal entry. To this island, there were a man and woman whom it loved each other. The man was blacksmith and the woman was the daughter of permanent residence. They must love each other secretly because of different identity. One day, pirates infiltrated and they kidnapped the woman. Meanwhile, Johnny Depp could escape the prison because the prison was broken by pirates’ shooting. The navy followed up the pirates to revenge, and also Johnny Depp and the blacksmith followed up. The reason why Johnny Depp pursued the pirate was to reoccupy his captain position from vice-captain. The blacksmith pursed the hazard pirate to rescue his lover. The pirate including Johnny Depp couldn’t die forever because they had touched the money that had curse. To solve the curse, they needed blood of some pirate’s descendant. Even though pirate’s descendant was the blacksmith, the pirate considered that the woman was pirate’s descendant. The pirate put out a wound in the female hand and they taken out the blood, but nothing happened to them. Therefore, they tried to kill the woman. At that time, Johnny Depp and The blacksmith appeared and then, they rescued the woman. When they were fighting with the pirate, the blacksmith solved the curse by his blood. After this ceremony, pirates’ invulnerable body was changed to normal body. As a result, the navy who had more soldiers won in this battle. At the end, the lover, the blacksmith and the woman got married even though their identity was different.
REACTION:
I like this movie because in this movie, I can feel spectacle action and creative adventure. And also, this movie includes love story. Personally, I like Johnny Depp as a actor.

This movie describes the real life of a reporter (Veronica Guerin) for Dublin’s Sunday paper. She delved into the netherworld of drug lords in pursuit of a great story and to make people realize that they should put the pressure on the government to fight this plague.
Unfortunately, her zeal put her life in grave danger and she was murdered
Reaction
I really like this movie because despite the frequent intimidation and threat from the drug barons, she continued to investigate. She deeply believed that she could help people fight dealers and also put the pressure on the Irish government to pass new laws. Even though, the dealers killed her, her death was meaningful because the Irish parliament finally creates a new section especially dedicated to investigate and arrest drug lords.
I was very happy because at the end, this new bill allowed the arrest of the most important drug baron in Dublin and also her killer of Veronica

SUMMARY:
Harry Potter- a wizard in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry- is chosen as one of competitors of Triwizard Tournament which is held throughout a year by three witchcraft schools in Hogwarts. Usually, challenger are 3 people from each school. However, Harry is chosen as the fourth challenger by the Goblet of Fire. Someone casts a spell on the Goblet of FIre and nobody know who did it. There are 3 tasks waiting for competitors. They are required to pass these tasks by themselves, and a winner receives the Cup and leaves his or her name in history. While the competition, Harry feels someone controlling the game behind them. Eventually, in the last game, something bad happens. One of competitors is killed by Lord Voldemort and they realize that one of Voldemort's followers changed himself to a teacher by magic and had been controlling the competition. Finally, everyone notices that Voldemort has come back.
REACTION:
I like Harry Potter series. This is not my first time I watch this movie, but it's still interesting to me. I enjoyed the story, music, and sound of British English!

Summary/Do you have a Yahoo e-mail account? Maybe a Gmail account? Do you put up pictures on website. If so, then you are using cloud computing — that's what tech companies call it when people work and store information on the Internet.
Most people who use the internet when they created a new account in any website they don't read user agreement. They stored their data in the website and they maybe lost the data when something happen in website like server down. Because of that there are many companies provide online services to keep your data even though system shut down such as Microsoft, Amazon and Apple.
The contents of the user agreement that most people don't read can be surprising. For example, when you put up your Face book page, you give the company the right to do whatever they want with it. According to the user agreement, Face book can "use, copy, publicly display, publicly perform, reformat, excerpt and distribute it."
Finally, people who work and store information on the internet just be sure to read user agreement before you click the accept button.
• Opinion of listening/ I agree with them because most people don't read user agreement. I think the problem is the user agreement it is so long to read it that's why people don't read it. Also people who have a important information I advise them to be sure to read user agreement before click accept button.

its a beautiful movie, the music is great.
i really liked the way that viane find out people secrets finding out their favorite kind of chocolate. she is a strong woman that doesn't give up, and has e special way of living her life, thats a great thing about this movie.

Summary:
This program talks about a woman’s disease. And the wrong diagnosis she has it.
She was a normal girl until some day she had cough and she went to family’s doctor, he decided that is normal and gave her some medicine but she didn’t feel better also her condition become worse. After long suffer she decided to go to another doctor and he told her that she has a cancer. Finally she has chemotherapy and she is recovered.
My opinion for this show that the person should take more than one opinion for his condition and never trust one doctor.

Vientnams they caught Stiller and they made him to be sample Jack. His friends were looking for him and when they knew about Vietnams caught him they made plan to help Stiller. They Fought battle to Vietnams people then they won and came back to their country by the airplane.

He said our nation in trouble for example credit card and gas prices increasly.
He said the American dream is under siege at home, and America's leadership in the world has been weakened. Also he mentioned traffic and drugs problem and he said Obama's will stand up to them. Furthermore he said Hillary told us in no uncertain terms that she'll do everything she can to elect Barack Obama. Shortly and finally, he praises Obama's and explained important problems that should be Obama's find a quick solution for them.
That makes two of us.
My opinion/ it was a wonderful speech, I really agree with Clinton about every thing he said. The gathering loves Bill Clinton and they cheered the American flag. I think that mean he said the truth in American society and trust Obama's to Eliminates all the problems in the US.

In 2700, there were no plants. The earth covered with trash. All people had to get out of the earth. So they invent a large spaceship and people lived there. Also, they invent many large machines to clean the earth while they are in space. By time, people turned to be stupid because they just have fun and nobody study or work. All the work is done by computers and robots. Years later, all the machines on earth were demolished except one small machine. His name was Wall-E. He had a personality. He always collect cool things while he works and he found a plant. One day, the spaceship sent a robot to look for a plant on earth. Her name is Eave. Wall-E liked her and he showed her the plant. So she took it to the spaceship. All the people were happy because they are finally going back.
REACTION:
It was a very interesting, fun and it was a little bit scary. It was scary because they show you how the earth is polluted. And show you how counting on could be very bad if it was too much.

Reaction
It was pretty boring, but it was a good chance to know Amrican gorvernment, but, the master's speech was so fast, so I couldn't catch many words.

IN Las Vegase, murry crown who was boos of three guys was snatched of his important money, so three guys who were Joey, George and Vincent gor back it. In the desert, when they went back, they met woman whome was a pregnant. her name was Mary. Her car gave out at the same time three guys`s car also broken.
They repaired their car with her car`s battery. Three guys and she went to her destination and they said bye bye and hug each eothers. After she left, they perceived to be stolen wallet and their boss`s money. After that, three guys found her and then they went to her house. In their, they met her boyfriend and murry`s wife. First, three guys went out there because Murry`s wife wanted to settle this problem instead of Murry, but Mary`s boyfriend take two women away and then dimaded a ransom to Murry at barn. When Murry and Mary`s boyfriend exchanged money and two women, Three guys came and settled that. Then, Maty felt pain because baby wanted to go out of Mary. Luckily, she gave birth to a child, and she accepted to fall in love with Joey because they turned in favor of each other during they met.

It was good movie. I liked that actors always talked so I listened and learned a lot.

SUMMARY:
It was a normal day in The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). One of the workers found something strange on the radar. She saw a large asteroid. She didn’t believe, so she called her boos to check. Her boss couldn’t believe himself. He started shouting. He called all the experts to see this. Later in that day, they found out that an asteroid roughly the size of Texas heading towards the Earth. It will hit the Earth after 30 days. When it does hit the Earth, the planet and all what’s on it will be obliterated. The experts found away to destroy the asteroid which is to dig in it and put a nuclear bomb in the center of the asteroid. The problem is that there isn’t any astronaut who knows how to dig. After few days they found a group of oil driller and geologist. They have to start digging 15 days before the asteroid hits the earth. So they only have 10 day to learn how to go to space. After 10 days they went to the asteroid with the bombs. They started digging for 3 days. At the end, they put the bombs and everything is finished, but the problem is that the remote control that blows the bombs is not working.
One of them had to stay and blow the bomb. So they made some kind of a lottery. The chosen one stays with the bomb. And so I was, one of them blew the bombs and saved the whole world.
REACTION:
It was very dramatic movie. Especially the last part, when the man sacrificed himself to save the world

After 2000 years fortunately, Ric Oconel found the emperor's grave, but the man who wants to use emperor's power woke up the mummy. After, the emperor went to somewhere to wake up his army, finally, he succeed. For deffend the emperor, the chinese girl who kept in safe the mummy's grave woke up the other army. During the war, Ric Oconel killed the emperor by a special daggar with his son.
REACTION: It was pretty good, but I think that I'm tired of this series. I'm sure that The Mummy 1 was the best movie of this series

SUMMARY:
Ann who worked from one theater of New York was spending hard time, because the theater closed the door. At that time, the film director proposed her to be actress of his work. First time, she hesitated, but she finally contracted with him and left to Skeleton Island. In the skeleton Island, there were living natives. The natives attacked to the company of Ann. Fortunately, the sailors came running and rescued the company of Ann. However, the natives infiltrated secretly in the boat and kidnapped Ann. Jack who loved Ann went to the island again to rescue Ann. The natives wanted to give property; Ann to the King Kong which was an idol of them, so Ann sent to the forest which was the place of King Kong was living. The King Kong was falling in love with Ann when Jack and sailors were finding Ann. When the King Kong was sleeping, Jack succeeded to rescue her lover. The King Kong knew about the fact that Ann was disappeared and come to the company with angry. However the companies succeed to capture it and the movie director bring with the King Kong instead of making movie. The king Kong knew that he would work with Ann, so he was gentle. Different to his expectation, he met another woman in the stage, so he changed to anger and broke the iron-link. Ann heard about this news and went to the place which had the King Kong. She tried to stabilize him. However the military shoot the missile to catch the King Kong. The King Kong ascended to the highest building bring Ann to avoid this. The airplanes flew and attacked the King Kong. Ann desperately tried to block the pilots, but they did not listen. The King Kong met the bullets which is fired from the airplane and fell down from the building by him for her, even though he could fight more. Jack said that King Kong was dead not by bullets, but by love.
REACTION:
When King Kong was died, it was so sad moment to me. Moreover I felt the great power of love.

This is the first time I saw the "Heroes". I'm really satisfied about the content of the drama and I don't regret choosing this one. Most people are bound to think about deviation which can't be allowed in real world. So, it was really exciting and enjoyable story to me. I also want to have an ability like characters in this drama.

I chose this drama once again because I got an unforgettable first impression from Episode 1. Wathcing the last one, I just envied their mysterious ability and I hoped I could have had the ability too. But, I realized that the person directly concerned with it can be stressful since there is a possibility of making scaring situation. I should consider seriously once more about the special ability.

The movies tell me the sincere love between family won their suffering. And they enjoy singing and can be a happy group. I realized music can consolate people's mind and make them closer.
It was really moving and lovely movie.

I enjoyed "Before Sunset" even more than "Before Sunrise". It is the first time that I felt more affection for succeeding film in series. Since it lasted for only one hour and half, the flow was faster than the prior series. So "Before Sunset" was more absorbing than "Before Sunrise".

the beginning is pretty funny, but buy the end gets kind of boring with all the endless action scenes.
