As research for his latest book, Enslin is determined to check out the notorious room 1408 in a New York City hotel by personally staying as a guest in the fabled room. He believes that 1408 is just a myth perpetuated by stories and rumors that Enslin has collected for his past works. However, hotel manager Mr. Olin has strong objections to Enslin's stay and only warns him of the danger. Enslin is determined to go anyway. Unfortunately it was not a myth, 1408 truly is a room where the guests don't check out and die.
Reaction
It was a suspenseful movie but I didn’t like it because it was so scary

Reaction
I really like this movie because it shows the real aspect of our life and what is essential. Sometimes we are focusing on details while the real part of our life is occulting because we are not able to make the difference between priorities and feelings

He invited Actress Kerry Washington, Gov. Michael Steele (a republican) and Scott McClellan to talk about the republican’s politics and choices.
They were arguing because they said that how a lady who was the mayor of a town of 7,000 people a few years ago, and has a couple of years on the job as the governor of Alaska, population 600,000 can become the second most powerful person on earth.
Furthermore, it was a very cynical pick, from McCain who says that he is always thinking about "Country First,"
Reaction
I really like this show even if sometimes Bill Maher makes mockeries about the republicans; he talks about serious issues that people are not aware.
I think that American should learn from past mistakes because during 8 years the republicans have manipulated them and those never serve their causes.
Also he made a point when he said that
Americans are narcissist because they want a candidate just like them, not very bright

Summary:
There were two old men sharing a room in a hospital. They didn’t know each other. Both of them had cancer and they will die after few months. Day after day, the two men became best friends they always talk to each other about their lives. Once, one of them stated to talk about things that he never did in his whole life. The other one talked about that, too. Then one of them said to the other; why don’t we make a bucket list. So they made it, but just to imagine they didn’t wanted to do it. Then one of them said; let’s do it, I have a lot of money and it’s time to spend it all. And so it was, they went to a lot of places such as Italy France. They did a lot of crazy things, too. However, the rich man started to get sick so they went back to the hospital. After few days, the rich man died and his friend was very sad. After that, the doctor said to him, you are fine, the cancer is gone. He couldn’t believe that and he did know if he should be sad because of his friend or to be happy because he will live.
Reaction:
It was good movie but kind of sad. The two men were having fun in there last days of their life. So it was weird feeling.

Sam Dawson is a 40 years old man who has a mental problem. His brain is a seven years old child brain. Sam Dawson has a 6 years old girl and they love each other very much. However, the court decided that it is not possible for Sam to raise his daughter because he has a seven years old brain. Then a successful lawyer found out about his case and wanted to do anything to help him. After months of fighting, the court decided that he could raise his daughter if he had a job but the court will send someone every three months to check on them. Sam found a job in star bucks and he was able to raise his daughter.
Reaction:
It was good movie and it makes you cry. It shows you how Sam loves his daughter and he fought just to be with her.

While walking along, they continue on exchanging thoughts concerning life. As time goes by, romantic feeling is enhanced between them. However in the next morning after promising to meet once again in six months they say goodbye to each other.
Reaction:
I refrain from watching love stories since I don't enjoy explicit lines and exaggerated expressions. However this film is fine as it doesn't contain much of those. And sceneries of places which I've never been to are terrific.

Summary:
Briony Tallis, 13 years old girl observes her older sister Cecilia and Robbie conflicting. She misinterprets the scene and concludes that Robbie is sexually threatening her sister. She is convinced that Robbie is a sex-maniac. Later she contends that Robbie was to blame for the rape which happened after the dark. Ceclia believes in his innocence but Robbie becomes arrested. Four years after Robbie joins the army in order to be released from prison. Two lovers exchange letters. Briony, who now is a nurse, experiences cruel situation caused by war. She visits Cecilia to apologize and encounter Robbie who flies into rage by the sight of Briony. But she manages to confess that she made a fatal mistake and promise to reveal the truth. And suddenly film moves ahead and Briony is on TV, being interviewed about her autobiographical novel Atonement, which portrays of Robbie, Cecilia and herself. She shows deep remorse.
Reaction:
It is one of my favorite films. I also love the original book written by Ian McEwan. I can't add anymore statements.

Title/ Friday Night Lights (TV series)

Summary/ I watched two episodes about American serial drama TV series. The series details events surrounding the Dillon Panthers, a high school football team. The team's coach (Taylor) want make his team the best in US. He worries about his players after team from the girls and drinks alcohol. Before Friday coach with his team invites to a big party from organization in town. On Friday before match starts coach make meeting with players inside room change clothes. He makes a good plan for the match and advise every player, especially team's captain. During match time Panthers captain felt down when he made accident with player from other team. Ambulance takes him to hospital
All audiences and players were so sad. After that match continues and panthers team won the match. The second episode starts with new events. The players go to home and they watch theirs match in TV, most them cry because the captain feel bad in hospital. Coach dropped by captain in hospital and he encourages and gives him a football ball with his signature. The doctor who observes captain case, he tells the captain that he could be much worse, because he still unable to use hands and arms.
Coach makes urgent meeting with the players and he tells them that the captain will never play again because he paralyzed. The players cry and stay sadness for 2 days. After that the coach encourages them to begin practices to prepare for next match and he said we miss the captain and love him forever. The soul comes again to the team and everything became as usual.
My opinion/ I enjoyed when I saw Friday night light. It is a serial drama which makes me excite to watch a next episode. Also it has a lot of events which relate by loves and suffering.

Summary:
Mulan had to meet a fine guy and brighten her family. Mulan took a test but failed to pass the test. Among that time, a war happened and one of her family had to go and participate in the war. Mulan’s father had to join the war because he was the only male in the family. But, instead of her father, Mulan entered a training school. And, in the war, she succeeded to defeat the Hun tribes. But, later her comrade found out that Mulan was a woman. Groups of people who survived from the war had kidnapped the emperor. Mulan went and rescued the emperor. She finally went back her home and brightened her family.
Reaction:
Even though story structure is simple, the story is interesting. Mulan’s diverse personality makes movie more interesting. I was worried about revealing her identity.

There was a ugly monster named Shrek. So many characters in story are come to his village and made him really annoyed. So, he went to the king to complain about invasion. But, the King commanded him that if he save Princess Fiona locked in very dangerous castle, the King will keep the promise. After that, Shrek left for saving Princess with Donkey whose mouth is bigmouth. During the process, Shrek fell in love with Princess Fiona. But, their love was not east at first, but, in the end, they married successfully.
4. Reacation:
Among Disney animation movie, I like this film the most. Actually, I learned this movie with the conception of postmodernism in last semester and this movie is related with it. In almost animation, the main characters are pretty or handsome and their marriages are performed at magnificent castle. However, "Shrek" does not follow the rule of other Disney animation movies. It is the first try to show the monsters can be the main character and lover of princess. And even if his appearance is not normal, he has a really kind mind to others. I really love this film.

Summary: There was a common and quiet boy Peter. He was bitten by a super spider genetically modified. After the happening, peter got an ability like emiting cobweb from his wrists, power and sense to dangerous situation. He made up his mind to help people in trouble and fights against villains.
Reaction: There are many hero stories. But, Spiderman comes to my feeling different from other heros. Especially cobweb was really creative idea nobody couldn't imagine before. His courage which risks death was really moving. And I was also pleased to know that chance for doing some great things is given to ordinary people. Maybe, there will be such a special work to do to me someday.

Simba is found by Timon and Pumbaa in a desert where he stays till Nala, old friend of Simba, accidentally jumps into him. She persuades Simba to return and regain his throne. Coming back to the kingdom, he duels with a tyrant, Scar. He wins in the combat and become a new king.
Reaction:
I especially liked the music. Its
soundtrack is witty, beautiful and
grand.

'Ivy week' which people concerned with Ivy league meet high school students is held. Blair who had become to get a hateful mind to Serena lied to people concerned with Ivy league that Serena is going through rehab due to the addiction of drugs. Because of this, friendship of Serena and Blair is worsen more and more. But, after Blair realized there happened bad thing to Serena and her family, Blaire went to meet Serena and apologized indirectly.
4.Reaction:
I didn't watch this drama so long. But, it is still interesting to me because I just graduated high school on February and I can have a similar feeling to friends like characters in the drama even if I have a different environment from them. As I watched Episode 1 through the Episode 3, I realized misunderstanding which felt at a moment can make friendship separated. But, although it is not clearly mentioned, I feel there grows seeds of reconciliation between Serena and Blair.

Blair's mother got a proposal to contract with well-known department store. She wanted to use her daughter as a model. But photographers prefer Serena to Blair. Blair's mother decided to change the model because she didn't want to miss the chance to contract. But, she didn't tell the truth to Blair and Serena also got a notification that she would take a photo with Blair. There came a danger between two girls, but thanks to the Dan who is going to be a real boy friend to Serena, they reconciliated each other.
4. Reaction:
I think this drama really thrills me. There was a danger to friendship between Serena and Blair. In this time, there was a contribution of someone. Actually, in the past, I had a experience of getting distant from my best friend. Thanks to my effort, my friend and I got closer once again, but the time for waiting his mind was really painful to me. So, I feel sympathy whenever I watch this drama because I know the feeling of being painful with friends.

Smash had fighting with white people in Cinema, because the white man bothers Smash's sister when he was sitting with his a white girl friend. Next day, Smash family went to his girl friend house. They had conversation with her parent's while table dinner. Suddenly her mother talked with Smash mother and she said that she feel scary of Smash, because people in Dillon, Taxes they are not open mind. In next episode coach denies that his wife work because he wants she take care of him and children. He convinced her to stay at home. Matt became sad, because his girl friend left to study nursing and take care of her parent's. In addition, the owner of Dillon team he brought a new player from Mexico and he wants to make him a perfect player in Dillon team.
• Opinion of listening/
As I watched it was exciting episodes that mentioned many events which talking about some problem in USA like racism between white and black.
• Vocabulary/ Suspend / verb to officially stop someone from working, driving, or going to school for a fixed period, because s/he has broken the rules: Example: Joey was suspended from school.

There was a middle age women, her husband just died. The woman was planning to go to New York to bury her husband. She took a plane ticket with her daughter. They were the first arrivals in the plane. While she was in there, she took a nap. When she woke up, she couldn’t find her daughter. She looked everywhere and she asked many people, but nobody saw her. She asked the captain so he ordered all the flight attendance to go look for her. The plane was very big and It took long time to look everywhere. However, they didn’t find her. One of the flight attendance said that the daughter’s name was not on the list and she never got a ticket. The mom and the captain were shocked. The captain called the airlines and they confirmed what the flight attendance said. They thought that the mother was crazy so the police officer put a hand cuffs on her. She was not sure about herself and she started to think that she was crazy. Then she saw on the window a little hart was drowned by someone. She remembered that her daughter drew it. She knew something was wrong and she figured out that there is a conspiracy. However, the movie ended at this point.
Reaction:
The movie was not bad, but I was board while watching. The part that I like the most is when she saw her daughter’s drawings. I think that the channel cut the movie. I don’t know why, but maybe it will continue tomorrow.

When I went to the theater to see the movie there were lots of ad before beginning the movie. I was a little upset, cause it spent more than 30 minutes ! The movie was interesting, but there were too short conversation.

Lucy doesn’t have a sugar mama but she is given the real love of Sam, Anny and Sam’s friends. Every day, they took it easy. When she reaches age 7 she was afraid to become smarter than his father. As much as she loves his father she just wants to stay with him. Her teacher was concerned it and it caused social service’s visit to check out his abilities as a father. Unfortunately the organization misconstrued it and took Lucy away. Then Sam fights to custody of his daughter with a lawyer who is swamped with work. Because there was no one who can testify to the fact that he is a good father, the justice was under disadvantages. Moreover the opposing counsel baffled Sam in court and he spoke with a pronounced stutter. During this time foster family took care of Lucy and they are planning to adopt her. But she missed his father so much. She made something up in order to be with his father. Then the judgment was going to against him. However, all she need is love of his father, there is no bigger high. At last a temporary family realizes that Sam and Lucy they need each other. They withdraw a suit so Sam and Lucy can live together happily.
Reaction:
I felt that daddy's love and daughter's love are great.

As Tyler is confident in his dancing skills, he takes the chance and becomes her partner. Nora as a Classic Ballerina, she feels the freedom and passion in Tyler, and he, for the first time, finds a lifetime goal.
But they grew up in a different environment and had contrasting values similar to their dancing, they conflict with each other and this conflict becomes a partner and helps to successfully end the showcase. It also helps end the conflict with love.
Reaction:
Even though it was simple story, it was great movie. The song and dance was great.

The business world has no moral. It is an unfriendly world.

in the end everybory end up having fun at the ball.

One day she fallowed her friend to a place where the members of the kingdom secretly get together to sing and dance. The king found out about it and sent to jail everyone who was there. Ariel set her friends free and they run away with them. The king went searching for them in the place where her mother was killed. After they got reunited they were happy and they celebrated. From then on the life in the kingdom was the same as before.
