Directions for CS4 Listening Blog
Each student is required to listen to 5 hours of American audio each week. You may listen to the radio while you drive your car, or you may watch TV at home. You may even go see an American movie at the theatre. You may also go to YouTube.com, Google Video, or anywhere else on the Internet, and find an audio or video file. Anthony will check the CS4 Listening Blog every Friday night, so please post 5 hours of listening posts by the end of the week. In order to pass CS4, you must post 5 hours per week, for the next 7 weeks.
Every time you do one listening (one movie, one lecture, one TV show, one radio program, etc…) you must go to the CS5 blog and write the following information:

REACTION:
I liked this episode of Survivor because it was interesting and I learned many new words.
NEW WORD/PHRASE:
"On your mark, get set, go." This is a phrase used when people are about to start a race. A person yells it and then when he says "go" everybody must race.

#Summary: This is a documentary that talk about the Vietnam war. How the American Army combated with Vietnam North army. how the war was going on since the US army involved in Vietnam war until the end of the war.It also talks about the US soldiers' feelings that follow them until now.Lots of the US soldiers died for no reason. The war was ended, but the fight inside themselves still keep going on.

This is the first time I watch my country's war under American's eyes.All I knew about war come from some aldult's stories and from school.Today is the first day I watch the real view of my country war. Actually, I don't know how is my feelings now. The Vietnam war was over more than 30 years, but its memories, effects still exist not only in Vietnamese, but also in the American veterans. One of the American Veterans said that he had to relive those moment every night, in his dreams. There is no winner in war. The war brings only death, hurt and lost.I almost cry when I see many innocence Vietnamese were died beside the streets, the American soldiers were died, injured, painful..I wish there will be no more war in this world.

Short summary: Harry Potter started to study in Hogwarts. He is a special boy because of his experience. He made some new friends, also some enemies. He knew his story and how did his parents died. He also knew who killed his parents and the black lord lost his power because of him. In this moive, Harry stoped the black lord's relive plan and beat him.
Reaction to listening： I am really like Harry Potter, because I read the book before. When I watched this movie, I am admired the director's skill to show the story so perfect. I can understand the story and hear most parts of details in the movie. I really like it.

- There was snowflake ball for seniors. Bliar was trying to find her new partner, and Chuck tried to mess up Bliar's plan making new boyfriend.
Finally, she made a deal with him bringing each partner. Serana is dating with her new boyfriend who is an artist. However, she felt she doesn't be free from Dan. Ironically, Serena, her new boyfriend , Dan and Serena's boyfriend's ex girl went to the snowflake ball together.
Vanessa was dating with Nate, but she can't talk to Jenny about that. She felt guilty stealing a letter from Nate to Jenny. She decided to spell out her behavior to Nate at the ball.

I want to talk about Jenny. Jenny was a good daughter and student before. However, she changed totally after hanging out with Bliar's friends. She was ashamed of her economic condition. She was in an obsession about her life. I'm just worried about her because I know she has a good designer.

- This episod looks like 80's movies, because of the story. Main actor save , and protect someone(female). I think even its origin is japan, it include american culture. When I read reply about this episod, people talk about 'the twilight zone' but I don't know what it is.

Serena decided to travel with her new boyfriend "Aron". However, Dan is still in her mind. Chuck realized that he needs Bliar.

- The news about Chuck's father was so surprising to me. I've never expected that. Serena and Dan still love each other. However Serena's mother and Dan's father also love each other. Thus, Serena gave up Dan because of her mother.

I really like this documentary, and I love history as well.There are a thousand mysteries around us that we still can't find out the answers.

She is worried about him. Chuck escaped from NewYork. He stayed in Tailand. He was smoking and drinking. Dan's father doesn't support Dan and Serena. There is a reason. Dan's father and Serena's mother had a baby, but Dan's father didn't know that. Lilly gave up the baby at that time. She sent him to adoption center. Dan knew that.
Chuck came back to NY, but he still needs time to recover his mind. Bliar is trying to help him be Chuck.

They will analyse all datas that will help them understand about the coming storm, how powerful they will become and how long it will last.
In this documentary, they also explain how the storm form.
Reaction: The scientists job is so imagine and dangerous. Some of people call them as chasing storm.Beside that, there are a lot of people die every year because of hurricanes. Studying and understanding the hurricanes can save many human's lives. The scientists in this documentary are doing the wonderful tasks.

Chuck saw his father's will, and the letter said he is charged in the company. However, Chuck didn't have confidence. He is the only person who doesn't believe him. Bliar and Chuck's father believed him. Because of Chuck's uncle's plan, Chuck screw up the his plan. He couldn't take the will.

-I was thinking about privacy. There doesn't exist person's thing. Everybody knows each other, and they are enjoying that. On the other hand, they are afraid of that. They don't want to be a person who his/her news upload in Gossip Girl.

Summary: here is a series of movie about Reba's family. She is a beautiful woman who really loves her children. However, her marriage is going to failed. Her 17 year-old daughter gets married with her schoolmate and pregnant when she is still in her high school. For that reason, the dean of her school wants to "kick" her out of school. Reba tries her best to protect her daughter to give her daughter a right to stay at school although she is pregnant.
Reaction: This movie is funny and talks about normal life, the situation that can happen in any families. Besides that, I think the conversations in this movie may be useful for me, I hope I can study intonation through this movie.

actually when I saw the commercial of the movie I was interested to see it. its good movie and had many interesting things especially when Langdon was following up the threads of the story.

After spending some time bowling, Marie and Dan embrace when Dan's family showed up with a lot of angry at Dan for his disloyalty. Dan talks to his daughters and he admits that he is in love with Marie, even though he's only known her three days. Encouraged by his parents and three girls, he goes after Marie. And they get married.

Reaction:
This movie was exciting and had many adventures when Frank was using his tricks and intuition. I recommended to see it.

Reaction:
Is an excellent story, and is the real world. Day by day we saw wars, soldiers died and everything just for particular interests. This movie shows me how the particular politics can create a world. 100% recommended.
